Common Instructions
Please read the common instructions together with:
-
Problem statement and relevant information for your chosen scenario -
Scenario 1 or Scenario 2 -
Judging criteria and pitching requirements
-
Hackathon schedule (kindly note submission and presentation timings)
Each team is asked to select one scenario and develop digital solutions to help individuals in the position of the protagonist and address the underlying legal issues. The facts in the scenarios are provided to give each team context, which should help each team formulate realistic solutions.
Teams are not expected to address all parts of each scenario, but they should demonstrate that their solutions are responsive to the facts of the scenario and the relevant practical legal issues, especially cross-border challenges. The teams should focus on one or more particular aspects of their selected scenario. For example, helping users better understand privacy law, complete simple standard legal documents, and facilitate the search for qualified and relevant legal assistance. The solutions could be specific to certain subject domains and processes.
We have also provided further prompts and example solutions to inspire your designs and innovation. No score will however be awarded for just copying the example solutions.
